We Are All Black & Gold

When the New Orleans Saints beat the New England Patriots on Monday night football, I got a little misty eyed.  It was beautiful.  The frustration of Tom Brady, the look on Bill Belichick’s face.  The answer to the question that the entire nation was asking:  Yes the Saints are really that damn good.

They have to respect us now right?  No more can they say our season has been a fluke.  We are now the elites.  The reason that we love the Saints so much is because we have an emotional attachment to them.  The New Orleans Saints define us.  We aren’t just like other football fans because we passionately love our Saints just like we love our culture.

Check out what happened later on that night as Saints fans partied in the streets.   My only question is:  If we partied this hard for a Monday night football game, how hard will be party if they win the Superbowl?

See in New Orleans, when the Saints win it doesn’t matter who you are or what color you are.  Because we are all Black & Gold!
