About Me
My name is Christopher A. Boudy, Sr. and I’m an avid technologist, family man, and all around over achiever. My love for technology started when I was only six and that blossomed into passion for all things tech. I’ve been in the web development field since the age of 18 working with small startups, freelancing, and large organizations.
In 2009, a group of colleagues and I started NewOrleans Tech.Net which highlights technology news in the city of New Orleans. Our organization cover local technology news, hosts a bi-weekly podcasts, and also supports tech based community outreach. On Fridays, I host a bi-weekly technology segment on LaunchPad TV where I talk about hyperlocal tech news and give commentary on other tech happenings.
My other claims to fame are being apart of the New Orleans speaker panel: Uprising Tide – Inciting Online Communities into Offline Movements for SXSW, which is a huge conference for geeks, large tech communities, and start ups. As I get older, I try to find ways to simplify my life more but that never seems to work. On top of the items mentioned above, I’m currently working on my M.B.A. w/ specialization in information tech, trying to raise my geek cred, and working toward writing two books in the beginning of 2011.
Thanks for listening to my ramblings!
